In short: we only process what is needed to build the tables and guide you on the night. No ads, no analytics, no selling of data.
1. Who is responsible
Progressive Dinner (“Dîner Tournant” — mobile app and dinertournant.com) is published by Alexandre Tertrais, sole trader (micro-entreprise, France), 62 rue des Passementiers, 42100 Saint-Étienne, France — SIREN 983 157 017.
Contact: contact@dinertournant.com
Website hosting: Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Chypre.
2. The data we process
| Guest | First and last name, postal address and its geographic position, means of transport, whether you come alone or as a couple, phone number if you give it. An anonymous technical identifier ties the sign-up to your device: there is no email and no password. |
|---|---|
| Organiser | Email address and password (stored encrypted, never readable), or the identifier provided by Apple or Google if you sign in with them; the dinners you create; purchases (plan, date, transaction reference). We never receive your card number. |
| Technical | Server logs (IP address, date, request), kept by our hosting providers to secure the service. |
3. What it is used for
- Building the tables and calculating travel, then showing everyone their own programme (performing the service you ask for).
- Managing the organiser’s account and purchases (performance of the contract, accounting obligations).
- Protecting the service against abuse (legitimate interest).
No decision is made about you other than the seating of the dinner.
4. Who sees what
- The organiser of the dinner sees the sign-ups to their dinner: name, address, phone, means of transport.
- Other guests only see the name and address of the hosts they go to, and only once the location is revealed. If you do not host, your address is not shown to any guest.
- Nothing is public: a dinner can only be reached with its code.
5. Our providers
| Supabase | Database and accounts. Servers located in Paris (European Union). |
|---|---|
| Travel-time calculation: only the start and end positions are sent, with no name. “Continue with Google” sign-in if you choose it. | |
| IGN and Photon | Address suggestions: the text you type in the address field is sent to the French IGN Géoplateforme, then to Photon (Komoot) if needed. |
| Apple | “Continue with Apple” sign-in and in-app purchases on iPhone. |
| RevenueCat | Tracking of the organiser’s purchases: account identifier and transactions, no name or address. |
| Hostinger | Website hosting and account emails. |
| Expo | Delivery of mobile app updates. |
Some of these providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Expo) are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long
- Sign-ups to a dinner are kept as long as the dinner exists. They are erased when the organiser deletes their account, or at your request.
- The organiser account is kept until it is deleted, which you can do yourself (seeDelete my account).
- Purchase records are kept for ten years, as required by French accounting law.
7. Cookies and trackers
The site and the app set no advertising cookies and no analytics. Only essential information is stored on your device: your session, your evenings, the language and theme you chose. Fonts are served from our own domain.
8. Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its processing, and ask for restriction or portability. Write to contact@dinertournant.com: we answer within one month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
9. Minors
The service is intended for adults. It is not aimed at anyone under 15.
10. Changes
This page is updated when the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
